Playing with the pros at Full Tilt Poker

Published by NewGamester at 9:02 pm under Poker

While having a “vacancy” from my poker life (yeah, I’ve lost $85 in a $0.50/$1 Limit Texas Hold’em game) I was watching how other people are playing poker. Accidentally, I’ve found a high stakes ($200/$400) heads up table at FullTiltPoker. Ouch, it was Robert Mizrachi playing against Quiet Lion. Robert Mizrachi (Nicknamed “Who’s Bad”) is a FullTilt pros player. It was fun to find out that Quiet Lion is Richard Brodie, who, in his own words is “Although I’m the author of two books, I’m probably best known as the original author of Microsoft Word and Bill Gates’s assistant”. Wow, the creator of Microsoft Word is playing against a FullTiltPoker Pros. (You can read the Richard’s blog here: http://www.liontales.com)

In the screenshot below you can see that Quiet Lion has around $14k, … but 10min before that he had only $7k. Hmmm, good job Quiet Lion, it’s a pleasure to see when a Pros is loosing :)

High Stakes Limit Holdem at FullTiltPoker

It was a pleasure to observe real time a game where thousands of dollars where traveling up and down. I was also amazed by the fact that Quiet Lion was sitting alone at another high stakes heads up table at the same time, waiting for another Big Fish to come and play against him.

Browsing the “Lion’s” blog I discover that poker is a life style for many people.
